This week’s Current Court Report includes arraignments and dispositions from Monday’s Nantucket District Court session.
Oscar Cabrera Mercado, 29, of Nantucket was arraigned on Sept. 24 charges of assault and battery (three counts) and one charge of disorderly conduct. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court Dec. 18 for a pretrial hearing.
Orvis Cuello-Adames, 28, of Nantucket was arraigned on Sept. 24 charges of assault and battery (four counts) and one charge of disorderly conduct. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court Dec. 11 for a pretrial hearing.
Mercado and Cuello-Adames were involved in a fight at The Muse, where according to the police reports Adames punched an alleged victim in the face – giving him a black eye, pushing him multiple times, and then striking him again with a closed fist. Surveillance video obtained from police showed that Mercado was also involved in the fight with Adames.
After being continued without a finding for one year, Alan L. Fuchsberg, 69, of Nantucket had an Aug. 12 charge of failure to stop for police dismissed.
Shannon Y. Gonzalez, 31, of Nantucket was arraigned on two Nov. 7 charges of assault and battery. She had not-guilty pleas entered on her behalf and was ordered to return to court Dec. 18 for a pretrial hearing.
Gregory M. Moore, 61, of Nantucket was arraigned on Nov. 15 charges of hunting/fishing violations (six counts), possessing a firearm without an FID card, possessing ammunition without an FID card, deer tagging violation (six counts), and hunting/fishing in closed season (four counts). He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court Dec. 18 for a pretrial hearing.

Salvador Garcia Partida, 32, of Nantucket will have May 31 charges of assault and battery and threatening to commit a crime continued without a finding for six months on the condition he complete his probation without violation, pay a $50 victim-witness fee, and stay away and have no contact with the victim.
Manuel Omar Portillo Rivera, 26, of Nantucket was arraigned on Aug. 28 charges of disorderly conduct and vandalizing a gravestone. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court Dec. 18 for a pretrial hearing.
A warrant was issued for the arrest of Isaac Rodriguez Garcia, 25, of Nantucket for a second time after he failed to appear in court for an arraignment session on Oct. 7 charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (three counts) and assault and battery.
Elizabeth K. Skae, 31, of Nantucket was arraigned on Nov. 14 charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, failure to stop/yield, speeding, and a marked lanes violation. She had not-guilty pleas entered on her behalf and was ordered to return to court Dec. 4 for a pretrial hearing.
Amarni Wellington, 24, of Nantucket was arraigned on Oct. 17 charges of breaking and entering a building in the daytime for a felony and malicious destruction of property over $1,200. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court Jan. 29 for a pretrial hearing.
