This week’s Current Court Report includes arraignments and dispositions from the Monday and Tuesday Nantucket District Court sessions. It is jury week in District Court, so there will be court sessions each day this week.
Harold Beacham, 57, of Nantucket was arraigned on an Oct. 5th charge of operating a boat under the influence of alcohol. He had a not-guilty plea entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court Oct. 27th for a pretrial hearing. You can read more on this incident here.
Jose Antonio Berrera Campos, 61, of Nantucket had Aug. 4th charges of strangulation and assault & battery dismissed due to lack of prosecution after the alleged victim in the case declined to cooperate with prosecutors.
Dione Bruzdewicz, 32, of Nantucket was arraigned on Sept. 16th charges of assault & battery on a family/household member, assault with a dangerous weapon (two counts), malicious destruction of property under $1,200, and resisting arrest (two counts). She had not-guilty pleas entered on her behalf and was ordered to return to court Oct. 10th for a pretrial hearing.
Christopher A. Fields, 61, of Nantucket pleaded guilty to charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol (fourth or greater offense amended down to a second offense OUI) and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. He was ordered to serve three months in jail and was shipped to the Barnstable Correctional Facility and to complete three years of probation.
Lisa M. Graves, 42, of Nantucket was arraigned on Oct. 2nd charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. She had not-guilty pleas entered on her behalf and was ordered to return to court Oct. 27th for a pretrial hearing.
Oliberto Esteban Gregorio, 32, of Nantucket was arraigned on a Sept. 29thcharge of assault & battery on a family/household member. He had a not-guilty plea entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court Dec. 22ndfor a pretrial hearing.
Tomas Dagoberto Interiano Tejada, 41, of Nantucket was arraigned on Sept. 29th charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol (second offense), possessing a Class B drug, marked lanes violation, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and possessing an open container of alcohol. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court Oct. 27th for a pretrial hearing.
Brando Vladimir Landaverde Nunez, 27, of Nantucket was arraigned on Sept. 27th charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, a motor vehicle lights violation, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court Dec. 22nd for a pretrial hearing.
William J. Medrano, 32, of Nantucket was arraigned on Sept. 30th charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court Oct. 27th for a pretrial hearing.
After pleading guilty and completing two years of probation on May 20th, 2023 charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol (second offense) and negligent operation of a motor vehicle, Bradford G. Phelps, 58, of Nantucket had the case terminated and it is now closed.
After being found guilty and completing one year of probation on Oct. 3rd, 2022 charges of negligent operation of a motor vehicle and leaving the scene of property damage, Alvaro E. Vasquez Felipe, 29, of Nantucket had the case terminated and it is now closed
