Coast Guard Station Brant Point Rescues Fishing Vessel 15 Miles Southwest Of Tuckernuck

Coast Guard Station Brant Point Master Chief John Lowell told the Current Sunday morning that his station was able to respond and rescue a disabled fishing vessel 13 nautical miles southwest of Tuckernuck.

“This morning our station was notified of a disabled fishing vessel 13 nautical miles southwest of Tuckernuck,” Lowell told the Current. “The FV Rhiley Donn was disabled and adrift due to a fouled propeller. Our 47’ motor lifeboat crew currently has them in tow towards Martha’s Vineyard.”
