Nantucket Cottage Hospital Named 10th "Most Beautiful Hospital In America"

The Nantucket Cottage Hospital was named the 10th "Most Beautiful Hospital In America" in Soliant Health’s 2026 Most Beautiful Hospitals contest, earning national recognition following weeks of public voting.

NCH was one of 57 facilities nationwide that advanced to the public voting stage of Soliant’s 14th annual contest. 20 hospitals ultimately earned a place on the list, which celebrates healthcare organizations that stand out for the environments they create for patients, families, healthcare professionals, and their communities.

Soliant Health said in a release that Nantucket Cottage Hospital was nominated for its welcoming island setting, thoughtful design, and the warmth and compassion of its staff.

"Seasonal touches, from hydrangeas and a whale-tail statue in the courtyard to warm interior lighting and peaceful views in winter, reflect the hospital’s connection to Nantucket," the organization said in their announcement. "Its friendly, attentive staff and strong community atmosphere further help create an environment where patients and families can feel comfortable and supported, helping Nantucket Cottage Hospital earn the number 10 spot nationwide."

The contest was launched in 2009 and over 200 hospitals have been recognized across the country. You can view the complete 2026 list here.
