Nantucket Current Wins Six Awards From New England Newspaper & Press Association

Nantucket Current has been honored with six awards from the New England Newspaper & Press Association (NENPA) during its Better Newspaper Competition.
The awards were presented Saturday evening during NENPA's annual convention, which was held this year in Portsmouth, NH.
The Current took home the following honors:
- First place, government reporting: Jason Graziadei for coverage of the town's short-term rental tax revenue.
- First place, best website homepage: Nantucket Current, Moor Studio, and Dative
- Second place, climate change reporting: JohnCarl McGrady for this three-part series on the impact of climate change on Nantucket. Read part 1, part 2, and part 3.
- Second place, pictorial photo: Kit Noble
