Nantucket's annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony brought hundreds of people to Main Street on Friday for the kickoff event of the holiday season.
Despite heavy security measures required for President Joe Biden and his family to attend the ceremony, Main Street was full of revelers and the Main Street trees were lit up following a countdown led by Chamber of Commerce executive director Pete Burke.
