The sixth annual Nantucket Hispanic Festival was held on Saturday, Oct. 1 at the VFW facility off New South Road. Hundreds of people attended the event, which featured music, food, and performances by island children. Island residents from El Salvador, the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Mexico, Cuba, and other Central American countries were represented.
