Thousands gathered at Jetties Beach on Saturday for the 29th annual Boston Pops On Nantucket concert benefiting Nantucket Cottage Hospital.
The Pops played selections from West Side Story and paid tribute to former conductor John Williams before the orchestra was joined by The Yachtly Crew band for the second set of the evening, filled with yacht rock hits.
The sold-out event was hosted by Tommy Bresette, and the night was capped off by a dazzling fireworks display from an offshore barge. The concert raises more than $2 million for the hospital each year.
