PHOTOS: Extensive Downtown Flooding After Another Coastal Storm

Portions of the downtown waterfront were swamped by coastal flooding Saturday at high tide in the immediate aftermath of yet another significant storm. The Brant Point area was hit hard, including nearly all of Easton Street, as the waters reached their peak.

Nantucket Police blocked off Easy Street to prevent motorists from getting swamped, but vehicles were spotted navigating deep water along Washington Street and other locations along the waterfront that hadn’t been cordoned off.
