WATCH: Antares Rocket Lights Up The Sky South Of Nantucket

An Antares rocket launched from Wallops Island, Virginia was spotted from numerous vantage points around the island Tuesday evening.
NASA and its commercial cargo provider Northrop Grumman launched the rocket at 8:31 p.m. It was the company’s 19th resupply mission to the International Space Station from the NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia.
Filled with more than 8,200 pounds of supplies, Northrop Grumman’s Cygnus cargo spacecraft was atop the Antares rocket. It will arrive at the space station on Friday, Aug. 4. The video below as captured at Surfside Beach:
