No Place For Hate On Nantucket

To the editor: I am running for re-election to the planning board and the election is tomorrow, Tuesday May 19^th. Yesterday, I discovered that multiple of my campaign signs near Tom Nevers and by the airport had been stolen, defaced, or obstructed.

This is not the Nantucket I know.

I hope voters will make their decision based on each candidate’s qualifications and commitment and not on rumors, personal attacks, or, even worse, the kind of hate that compels someone to deface and steal property.

One of the great privileges of campaigning is the chance to talk with all voters and I welcome those conversations.
