Sewer Commissioners Should Take Action On Surfside Crossing

To the editor:  I’ve asked this at public comment and I ask again: The Select Board, as the executive branch of town government, should all be aware of the work that is being done at the site of the proposed Surfside Crossing 40B development. Neighboring houses are shaking from it. I have been told permanent damage is being done to people's homes from it. People's lives are being affected negatively.

As the town sewer commissioners, the Select Board needs to listen to what our own town expert, John C. Chessia, P.E., testified. That Surfside Crossing is for their own private use, using the Town sewer easement, and that directly interferes with the town‘s property use. In my opinion, if I or any other person did this, it would be addressed immediately! The Select Board,  as the sewer commissioners, can issue a stop-work order and an eviction to Surfside Crossing, and I, along with many others, are asking that you do just that.
