Barry's life was a testament to his remarkable resilience and strength. At the tender age of 5, he bravely overcame Wilms Tumor, marking the beginning of a journey defined by his unwavering spirit. Barry was one of the first children to beat and survive kidney cancer.

Born and raised amidst the scenic beauty of Nantucket, Barry spent 31 cherished years on the island, where he developed a deep appreciation for the ocean and the simple pleasures of life. In 1984, Barry became a proud and longstanding resident of Epping, New Hampshire, where he would create countless memories and touch the lives of those around him.

It was fate that brought Barry and Leah together, as Barry's brother introduced them at a beach party in 1982. From the moment they met, their connection was undeniable, and they spent the entire night lost in conversation, forging a bond that would withstand the tests of time. On July 6, 1985, Barry and Leah exchanged vows and embarked on a journey of love and partnership that would span nearly four decades.

Barry was a pillar of strength and support for his wife Leah's business, Blue Whale Arts, LLC, where she cultivated gourds and created breathtaking works of art and crafts. His unwavering dedication and commitment were instrumental in the success of the business, serving as a testament to his steadfast love and devotion.

Barry leaves behind a legacy of love and perseverance that will be carried on by his beloved wife Leah; his children, Tracy Boucher and Timothy Reed; his seven grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his siblings, Heather Tyler, Lewis Reed, Andrew Reed, and Trudy Reed, as well as his parents, Victor G. Reed and Barbara Reed. He is survived by his brothers, Victor Reed Jr. and James Reed, who will continue to cherish his memory.
