This week’s Current Real Estate Roundup includes property transfers from December 31st, 2025 to January 8th, 2026. The official real estate sales number is in for 2025 - coming in at $1,840,712,366. That is an uptick from 2024, which came in just under $1.4 billion at $1,394,295,584.
According to our friends at Fisher Real Estate, there were a total of 417 transactions in 2025. The median home sale price slightly dropped to $3.5 million from last year's record high of $3.73 million.
The highest sale of the 2025 year was Three Sherburne Way, a north shore property that sold for a staggering $37.75 million.
