Girls Tennis Beats Rising Tide 5-0

The Whaler girls tennis team made quick work of the Rising Tide Herons on Monday, beating them 5-0 on the road.
The results were as followed:
First Single: Emily Dussault won her match in straight sets, barely squeezing out a first set win 7-6 but cruising in the second set 6-0.
Second Single: Abbey Boylan won her match in straight sets (6-1, 6-0).
Third Single: Elis Vieth won her match in straight sets and didn't even allow her opponent to sniff success, winning it 6-0, 6-0.
First Doubles: Joan Harris and Haley Ray won their match in straight sets 6-3, 6-3.
Second Doubles: Sarah Hanlon and Lauren Cutone won their match in straight sets 6-1, 6-2.
The Whalers are now 5-6 this season and will look to hit the .500 mark on Thursday when they travel to Hyannis to take on the St. John Paul II Lions at 2 p.m.
