Photo Gallery: 2025 Nantucket Half & Quarter Marathon

The 14th annual Nantucket Half Marathon took place Sunday morning despite the rainy and windy conditions, with 378 runners taking part in the race. There was also a quarter marathon featuring 144 runners.

Half marathon results were led by Owen Holland, a 23 year old of Newton, Massachusetts, who placed first overall with a time of 1:19.45 and a pace of 6:03 per mile. For females, it was Emily Mullins, a 38 year old of Hingham, Massachusetts placing fourth overall and highest among women with a time of 1:26.08 with a pace of 6:34 per mile.

In the quarter marathon, Jon Fontana, a 24 year old from River Edge, New Jersey, placed first overall with a time of 42:08 and pace of 6:23 minutes per mile. For females, Claire Forkner, a 40 year old from Boston, placed seventh overall and best among women with a time of 49:18 and a pace of 7:28 per mile.
