The Nantucket Half Marathon, 10K, and Kids' Run took place Sunday morning. The course began at Bartlett’s Farm. Those doing the half marathon completed two loops of the Nantucket Land Bank Smooth Hummocks Preserve.
Over 320 runners participated in the half marathon and over 150 runners participated in the 10K.
The top male finisher in the Half Marathon was Michael Henry, 46, of Merion Station, Pennsylvania who finished with a time of 1:21:27. The top male finisher in the 10K was Mac McCormick, 26, of New Hartford, Connecticut who finished with a time of 44:03.
The top female finisher in the half marathon was Sejal Atluru, 24, of New York, New York who finished with a time of 1:33.16. The top female finisher in the 10K was Sarah Mcgowan, 25, of New York, New York who finished with a time of 49:08.
The top Nantucket male finisher in the Half Marathon was Jim Congdon, 60, with a time of 1:27.18. David Desnoyers (35 years old, 1:28:01) and Aidan Mccormack (21, 1:28.59) were right behind Congdon representing Nantucket. The top Nantucket male finisher in the 10K was Nathaniel Barney, 40, with a time of 47:39.
The top Nantucket female finisher in the Half Marathon was Lindsay Daley, 38, with a time of 1:43.31. The top Nantucket female finishers in the 10K were Ingrid Ryan (46, 59:01) and Lisa Sherburne (59, 58:59).

Island Resident Peter Brace also notably was honored as the recipient of the David Glidden Fellowship Award, which recognizes islanders who support fellow athletes. Jim Meehan, who is the director of the event, said that Brace has volunteered at each of the 12 Half Marathons.
"(Brace) owns the Nantucket Walkabout - giving nature tours on the Island," Meehan said. "Peter is a naturalist and has written extensively on the Nantucket environment and natural history."
