Photo Gallery: Spring Sports Practices Continue

The 2026 Nantucket High School spring sports preseason continues, and the Current has continued to make its rounds to different Whaler practices.

Below are some photos from softball, girls tennis, boys tennis, and outdoor track taken by Chris Tran. Sailing will be setting sail for the first time Friday afternoon.

As for season previews, expect to see stories published next week to allow coaches time to evaluate their rosters before looking ahead to what they expect in the upcoming season.

Below are the Whaler sports schedules via Arbiter.

Baseball - Their first game is scheduled for Friday, March 27th on the road against O'Bryant High School at 6 p.m.

Softball - Their first game is scheduled for Saturday, April 4th at home against Martha's Vineyard at 10:45 a.m.

Girls Lacrosse - Their first game is scheduled for Monday, March 30th on the road against Nauset at 4 p.m.

Boys Lacrosse - Their first game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 31st at home against the Monomoy Sharks at 4 p.m.

Sailing - Their first regatta is scheduled for Thursday, March 26th on the road against Cape Cod Academy at 3:30 p.m.

Boy Tennis - Their first game is scheduled for Thursday, March 26th on the road against Dennis-Yarmouth at 4 p.m.

Girls Tennis - Their first game is scheduled for Friday, March 27th at home against St. John Paul II at 4 p.m.

There is no schedule currently published for outdoor track & field on Arbiter.
