The boys lacrosse team went on the road to play one of the stronger lacrosse programs on the south shore in the Pembroke Titans Tuesday afternoon and won 7-5 to improve their record to 4-0 this season.

Jeremy Jenkinson was once again sensational in net. The senior captain finished the game with 14 saves. Senior midfielder Arann Hanlon led the team with three goals and added two assists in his best offensive game to date in the young season while senior attacker Marco La Chuisa scored two goals, Nolen Mosscrop and Andrick Mooney each scored one goal (Mosscrop had one assist), and Jake Grant added an assist.

Whaler head coach Sam Aloisi acknowledged that Pembroke had a strong team and are tested by their difficult schedule. Nantucket led 4-2 after one quarter and found themselves in a 4-4 tie at halftime. They scored three goals in the third quarter to pull away and enter the final quarter with a three goal lead, which was more than enough for a strong Whaler defense supported by one of the state's best goalies.

Nantucket's schedule doesn't get any easier, and that is by design to test an experienced Whaler squad that has their eyes set on having a successful regular season that can prepare them for another deep state tournament run. They will be hosting the Falmouth Clippers on Thursday, April 9th at 4 p.m.
