Current Court Report - April 5, 2026

This Current Court Report includes arraignments and dispositions from the Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday Nantucket District Court sessions last week to wrap up their jury week. Court will be transitioning to a Monday and Tuesday schedule moving forward for the summer season.

Ryan Michael Allen, 28, of Nantucket had July 5^th, 2025 charges of assault and battery and resisting arrest dismissed due to lack of prosecution after the alleged victim in the case declined to cooperate with prosecutors.

Dione B. Bruzdewicz, 32, of Nantucket had September 16^th, 2025 charges of assault and battery on a family/household member, assault with a dangerous weapon (two charges), malicious destruction of property under $1,200, and resisting arrest (two counts), as well as January 9^th charges of assault and battery on a family/household member and resisting arrest dismissed due to lack of prosecution after the alleged victim in the cases declined to cooperate with prosecutors.

Antonio Ivan Esquivel Delgado, 33, of Nantucket had one January 12^th, 2025 and one January 13^th, 2025 charge of wanton & lascivious lewd conduct dismissed due to lack of prosecution after the alleged victim in the case declined to cooperate with prosecutors.

Ricardo Antones Garcia Desouza, 33, of Nantucket had a December 7^th, 2025 charge of assault & battery dismissed due to lack of prosecution after the alleged victim in the case declined to cooperate with prosecutors.

Yojan Arley Zuleta Areiza, 19, of Nantucket will have a May 4^th, 2025 charge of reckless operation of a motor vehicle continued without a finding for one year on the condition he complete the probation without a violation. Charges of a marked lanes violation and speeding stemming from the same incident were dismissed.
