Current Court Report - August 15, 2023

This week's Current Court Report includes arraignments and dispositions from Monday's Nantucket District Court session.

Gilbert Harold Arnold, 36, of Nantucket, was found not-guilty by an island jury on March 12, 2022 charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol (second offense), negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and speeding. Arnold was represented by attorney Jim Merberg.

Luiz Da Silva Junior, 48, of Nantucket, was arraigned on an Aug. 13 charge of assault & battery on a family/household member. He had a not-guilty plea entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court Aug. 28 for a pretrial hearing.

After being continued without a finding for one year, Jordan E. Delphos, 39, of Nantucket, had a July 14, 2022 charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol dismissed.

Alan L. Fuchsberg, 69, of Nantucket, was arraigned on Aug. 12 charges of failure to stop for police, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, and a marked lanes violation. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court Aug. 21 for a pretrial hearing.
