This week’s Current Court Report includes arraignments and dispositions from Monday’s Nantucket District Court session.

After being continued without a finding for one year, Philip Keith Albertson, 54, of Nantucket, had a June 9, 2023 charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol dismissed.

Gabriel Bouchard, 21, of Lakewood, Colorado, was arraigned on July 13 charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, failure to stop for police, and a marked lanes violation. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court Aug. 12 for a pretrial hearing.

Edwin Claflin, 43, of Nantucket, was arraigned on July 12 charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and a marked lanes violation. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court Aug. 12 for a pretrial hearing.

Richard D. Foulkes, 34, of Nantucket, will have a May 31 charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol continued without a finding for one year on the condition he complete his probation without a violation, complete a driver alcohol education program, and pay $600 in fees.

A charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle stemming from the same incident was dismissed.

Esdras Joel Juarez Castaneda, 24, of Nantucket, was arraigned on July 12 charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and a marked lanes violation. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court July 29 for a pretrial hearing.

Amy Rhodes, 35, of Austin, Texas, was arraigned on July 13 charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. She had not-guilty pleas entered on her behalf and was ordered to return to court Aug. 12 for a pretrial hearing.
