This week’s Current Court Report includes arraignments and dispositions from Wednesday’s Nantucket District Court session.

William David Ciarmataro Jr., 39, of Nantucket, had a May 26 charge of assault and battery on a family/household member dismissed due to lack of prosecution. A charge of resisting arrest stemming from the same incident remains open and Ciarmataro was ordered to return to court July 10 for a pretrial hearing on the matter.

Arthur D. Souza, 63, of Nantucket, was arraigned May 4 charges of vandalizing property, disorderly conduct, and littering and on a May 14 charge of shoplifting by asportation. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court Aug. 28 for a pretrial hearing.

Savannah Twomey, 27, of Nantucket, was arraigned Monday charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, assault on ambulance personnel, assault and battery on ambulance personnel, three charges of assault and battery on a police officer, threatening to commit a crime, a civil rights violation, resisting arrest, speeding, disorderly conduct, and a marked lanes violation. She had not-guilty pleas entered on her behalf.
