This week’s Current Court Report includes arraignments and dispositions from the Monday and Tuesday Nantucket District Court sessions.

Anderson Diery Benitez, 22, of Nantucket was arraigned on July 5th charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and a marked lanes violation. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court August 17th for a pretrial hearing.

Andre Benoit Jr., 42, of Nantucket was arraigned on June 30th charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol (second offense), a marked lanes violation, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court August 18th for a pretrial hearing.

Bartlomiej Bruzewicz, 45, of Nantucket was arraigned on July 3rd charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, a marked lanes violation, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court September 14th for a pretrial hearing.

Miguel A. Cabrera, 45, of Nantucket was arraigned on July 3rd charges of assault & battery on a family/household member (two charges) and intimidating a witness/juror/police/court official. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court August 10th for a pretrial hearing.

Wilson Calderia, 45, of Nantucket was arraigned on July 4th charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, failure to stop/yield, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court August 17th for a pretrial hearing.

After being continued without a finding for one year, Lucas A. De Brito, 29, of Nantucket had February 5th, 2025 charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and leaving the scene of property damage dismissed.


Diego Roman Espinoza, 19, of Nantucket was arraigned on July 4th charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, a marked lanes violation, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court July 27th for a pretrial hearing.

Wanderson Rodrigues Maciel, 36, of Nantucket was arraigned on July 4thcharges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license for previously operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, possessing an open container of alcohol while in a motor vehicle, and failure to wear a seat belt. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court August 17th for a pretrial hearing.

Ryan J. McNeil, 26, of Nantucket was arraigned on July 3rd charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, unsafe operation of a motor vehicle, and a marked lanes violation. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court August 7th for a pretrial hearing.

After being continued without a finding for one year, Nazair T. Thompson, 24, of Nantucket had a May 24th, 2025 charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol dismissed.
