Current Court Report - July 7, 2026

This week’s Current Court Report includes arraignments and dispositions from the Monday and Tuesday Nantucket District Court sessions.

Anderson Diery Benitez, 22, of Nantucket was arraigned on July 5^th charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and a marked lanes violation. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court August 17^th for a pretrial hearing.

Andre Benoit Jr., 42, of Nantucket was arraigned on June 30^th charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol (second offense), a marked lanes violation, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court August 18^th for a pretrial hearing.

Bartlomiej Bruzewicz, 45, of Nantucket was arraigned on July 3^rd charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, a marked lanes violation, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court September 14^th for a pretrial hearing.

Miguel A. Cabrera, 45, of Nantucket was arraigned on July 3^rd charges of assault & battery on a family/household member (two charges) and intimidating a witness/juror/police/court official. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court August 10^th for a pretrial hearing.

Wilson Calderia, 45, of Nantucket was arraigned on July 4^th charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, failure to stop/yield, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court August 17^th for a pretrial hearing.

After being continued without a finding for one year, Lucas A. De Brito, 29, of Nantucket had February 5^th, 2025 charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and leaving the scene of property damage dismissed.

Diego Roman Espinoza, 19, of Nantucket was arraigned on July 4^th charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, a marked lanes violation, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court July 27^th for a pretrial hearing.

Wanderson Rodrigues Maciel, 36, of Nantucket was arraigned on July 4^thcharges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license for previously operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, possessing an open container of alcohol while in a motor vehicle, and failure to wear a seat belt. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court August 17^th for a pretrial hearing.

Ryan J. McNeil, 26, of Nantucket was arraigned on July 3^rd charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, unsafe operation of a motor vehicle, and a marked lanes violation. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court August 7^th for a pretrial hearing.

After being continued without a finding for one year, Nazair T. Thompson, 24, of Nantucket had a May 24^th, 2025 charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol dismissed.
