This week’s Current Court Report includes arraignments and dispositions from the Monday and Tuesday Nantucket District Court sessions.

Luis Alejandro Joseph Brea, 22, of Nantucket had April 23rd charges of failure to stop for police, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, speeding, a marked lanes violation, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and a motorcycle helmet violation either dismissed or labeled as not responsible on the condition he pay $100 in court costs.

Oreste C. Covil
, 47, of Nantucket was arraigned on June 27th charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and failure to stop/yield. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court July 28th for a pretrial hearing.

Victoria Page Ewing, 52, of Nantucket was arraigned on March 11th charges of breaking & entering for a misdemeanor and trespassing. She had not-guilty pleas entered on her behalf and was ordered to return to court August 31st for a pretrial hearing.

Geovanny Guillen, 31, of Nantucket will have a June 5th, 2025 charge of receiving a lost credit card continued without a finding for 11 months on the condition he complete his probation without a violation and pay an amount in restitution to be determined during an August 10th hearing. A charge of larceny over $1,200 by a single scheme stemming from the same incident was dismissed.

Naje Imanuel Nunes, 25, of Nantucket was arraigned on a June 26th charge of assault & battery on a family/household member. He had a not-guilty plea entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court July 28th for a pretrial hearing.

Romaine Patrick Powell, 30, of Nantucket was arraigned on June 13thcharges of assault & battery on a family/household member, intimidating a witness/juror/police/court official, and malicious destruction of property under $1,200. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court July 21st for a pretrial hearing.

Roberto Edwin Alvarenga Ramirez
, 53, of Nantucket was arraigned on June 27th charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, a marked lanes violation, possessing an open container of alcohol while operating a motor vehicle, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court July 21st for a pretrial hearing.
