This week's Current Court Report includes arraignments and dispositions from the Monday and Tuesday Nantucket District Court sessions.

Ryan Michael Allen, 28, of Nantucket was arraigned on July 5th charges of assault & battery and resisting arrest. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court Aug. 25th for a pretrial hearing.

Brighid Mary Davis, 32, of Nantucket was arraigned on two July 2 charges of assault & battery on a family/household member and a charge of assault & battery with a dangerous weapon. She had not-guilty pleas entered on her behalf and was ordered to return to court Sept. 2nd for a pretrial hearing.

Lucas A. Franca De Brito, 28, of Nantucket will have Feb. 5th charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and leaving the scene of property damage continued without a finding for one year on the condition he complete a driver alcohol education program, forfeit his license for 45 days, pay $600 in fees, and an amount in restitution to be determined at a later date. Celine Juliette Fiumara, 28, of Nantucket was arraigned on July 4th charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, a marked lanes violation, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. She had not-guilty pleas entered on her behalf and was ordered to return to court July 29th for a pretrial hearing.

Ricardo Jesus Calderon Guevara, 25, of Nantucket will have a Sept. 21st, 2024 charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle continued without a finding for one year on the condition he complete the probation without a violation, and was found not responsible on a charge of marked lanes violation.

Shane Hanlon, 30, of Nantucket had a Jan. 19th charge and a Feb. 17thcharge of violating a harassment prevention order dismissed due to lack of prosecution after the alleged victim in the case declined to cooperate with prosecutors.

Duglas Antonio Castro Hernandez, 26, of Nantucket was arraigned on July 4th charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol (second offense), negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court July 29th for a pretrial hearing.

Pearlena Mitchell, 64, of Nantucket will have an Oct. 10th, 2024 charge of assault with a dangerous weapon dismissed due to lack of prosecution after the alleged victim in the case declined to cooperate with prosecutors.

Lixi Rashel Cazun Pinzon, 22, of Nantucket had an April 20th charge of assault & battery on a family/household member dismissed due to lack of prosecution after the alleged victim in the case declined to cooperate with prosecutors.

Jason E. Thomas, 49, of Nantucket pleaded guilty to Oct. 8th, 2024 charges of vandalizing property and disorderly conduct. He will also have charges of assault & battery, trespassing, and resisting arrest stemming from the same incident continued without a finding for one year on the condition he complete his probation without a violation.

Nazair T. Thompson, 22, of Nantucket will have a May 24th charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol continued without a finding for one year on the condition he forfeit his license for 45 days, complete a driver alcohol education program, pay $600 in fees, and complete his probation without a violation.

After being continued without a finding for seven months, Juan H. Vasquez-Villalta, 27, of Nantucket had a Nov. 26th, 2024 charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license dismissed, but remains on probation through January of 2026 on a charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle stemming from the same incident. Charges of not being in possession of his license, operating a motor vehicle without an inspection sticker, and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license stemming from a Dec. 15th, 2024 incident were dismissed after being continued without a finding for seven months.

After being continued without a finding for one year, Julia Phelps Yancy, 25, of Nantucket had a June 16th, 2024 charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol dismissed.
