This Current Court Report includes arraignments and dispositions from the Wednesday and Thursday Nantucket District Court sessions.
Bernardo Alvarez Mejia, 46, of Nantucket will have a November 27th, 2024 charge of assault & battery on a family/household member dismissed on the condition he complete nine months of pretrial probation and will have a November 21st, 2025 charge of possessing a class B drug with the intent to distribute continued without a finding for nine months.
Manuel D. Garcia Garcia, 51, of Nantucket had a November 14th, 2025 charge of assault & battery dismissed due to lack of prosecution after the alleged victim in the case declined to cooperate with prosecutors.
Erick Marmolejos Burgos, 22, of Nantucket was arraigned on April 17thcharges of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, speeding, and a marked lanes violation. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court June 29th for a pretrial hearing.
Victor A. Ramirez Valdivieso, 33, of Nantucket was arraigned on two June 2nd charges of violating an abuse prevention order. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court June 15th for a pretrial hearing.
Alexander Patrick Ryan, 32, of Nantucket was found guilty by an island jury on June 15, 2025 charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. He was ordered to forfeit his license for 45 days, complete a driver alcohol education program, pay $600 in fees, and serve one year of probation.
