This week’s Current Court Report includes arraignments and dispositions from the Monday Nantucket District Court session.
Rohan Alrick Black, 41, of Nantucket pleaded guilty to two Sept. 16th, 2024 charges of photographing an unsuspecting nude person. He was sentenced to 18 months in the Barnstable House of Corrections on both charges to be served concurrently, however the prison sentence will be suspended for one year on the condition he complete the probation without any violations and stay away from the alleged victim.

Moris Humberto Maldonado, 44, of Nantucket was arraigned on two Nov. 16thcharges of assault & battery on a family/household member and two charges of assault & battery with a dangerous weapon. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court Jan. 26th, 2026 for a pretrial hearing.
According to the police report, Maldonado allegedly hit the victim with his belt and with a broom handle several times in the incident.
Brittany Dawson, 35, of Nantucket, will have a Sept. 13th, 2024 charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol continued without a finding for one year on the condition she forfeit her license for 45 days, complete a driver alcohol education program, and pay $600 in fees. Charges of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, improper operation of a motor vehicle, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle stemming from the same incident were dismissed.
Kevin Lemus Estrada, 32, of Nantucket was arraigned on Nov. 16th charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol (second offense), negligent operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation, and possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court Dec. 5th for a pretrial hearing.
Manuel D. Garcia Garcia, 51, of Nantucket was arraigned on a Nov. 14thcharge of assault & battery. He had a not-guilty plea entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court Feb. 9th, 2026 for a pretrial hearing.
Lisa M. Graves, 42, of Nantucket will have Oct. 2nd charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol (second offense) and negligent operation of a motor vehicle continued without a finding for one year on the condition she forfeit her license for 45 days, complete a driver alcohol education program, and pay $600 in fees. She was found not responsible on a charge of possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle stemming from the same incident.
Ellen M. Hope, 60, of Nantucket will have a Sept. 3rd, 2024 charge of leaving the scene of property damage continued without a finding for 15 months on the condition she complete her probation without a violation and pay an amount in restitution to the victim that is to be determined. A restitution hearing was scheduled for December.
Thomas Chase Montgomery, 36, of Nantucket had an Aug. 13th charge of assault and battery dismissed.
William P. Norris, 44, of Nantucket will have two March 29th charges of violating an abuse prevention order continued without a finding for six months on the condition he complete the probation without a violation and not have any contact with the victim in the case.
Justo Pastor Rivera Valverde, 26, of Nantucket was arraigned on Nov. 14thcharges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, failure to drive in the right lane, and possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court Jan. 26th, 2026 for a pretrial hearing.
