This week’s Current Court Report includes arraignments and dispositions from Monday’s Nantucket District Court session.
Roxeth J. Aguilar Mata, 26, of Nantucket had a July 6 charge of assault & battery on a family/household member dismissed after the district attorney's office declined to move forward with the case.
After being continued without a finding for one year, Barry D. Bryant, 44, of Nantucket had a Sept. 6, 2022 charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol dismissed.
Mason Alexander Lavallee, 30, of Nantucket was arraigned on July 1 charges of improper operation of a motor vehicle and reckless operation of a motor vehicle. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court Dec. 11 for a pretrial hearing.
Cesar Javier Lopez, 22, of Nantucket will have a July 3 charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle continued without a finding for six months on the condition he complete the six months of probation without a violation and pay $2,666 in restitution.
Carolyn Elizabeth Pfau, 43, of Bertram, Texas will have Sept. 9 charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and improper storage of a firearm continued without a finding for one year on the condition she complete a driver alcohol education program, forfeit her license for 45 days, pay a $250 program fee, $250 head-injury fee, $50 victim-witness fee, and $50 OUI assessment fee.
Charges of negligent operation of a motor vehicle and carrying a firearm without a license stemming from the same incident were dismissed. She was found not responsible on a failure to stop/yield charge.
Benjamin J. Reid, 31, of Nantucket was arraigned on two Oct. 8 charges of assault & battery on a family/household member. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court Nov. 20 for a pretrial hearing.
Excil Reid, 37, of Nantucket will have Feb. 16 and March 1 charges of distributing a Class B drug continued without a finding for one year on the condition he complete the probation without a violation.
Angel Gabriel Chavez Vasquez, 34, of Nantucket will have an April 8 charge of assault & battery on a family/household member dismissed after the district attorney's office declined to move forward with the case.
