NAREB Honors 2022 Volunteers Of The Year

The Nantucket Association of Real Estate Brokers on Tuesday announced its 2022 Volunteers of the Year: Michael J. O'Mara and Kenny Hilbig.

The organization, often known as NAREB, offered the following information about the two honorees:

Michael J. O'Mara: Has steadfastly served for many years on the NAREB Executive Board and Nominating Committee and for 23 years on the Nantucket Zoning Board of Appeals, seven as chairman. Michael was also the chair of the Building Committee for Nantucket Ice. Michael started Island Properties in 1985 and is a Principal Broker of Berkshire Hathaway Island Properties.

Kenny Hilbig: Serves as the chair of the Board of Directors of Inky Santa. NAREB thanks him for his tireless work on this program that benefits so many families in our community during the holidays. Originally from Austin, Texas, Kenny moved to Nantucket in 2012. Kenny is committed to the community and is currently the Sales Manager of William Raveis Nantucket.
