To the editor: The Town of Nantucket is complex and demands dedicated, knowledgeable leadership. We support stability and experience — qualities embodied by Matt Fee and Brooke Mohr.

A native Nantucketer and small business owner, Matt Fee brings decades of public service, a deep understanding of the island, and a balanced approach to growth, housing, the environment, and infrastructure. His long-term commitment and institutional knowledge are vital to navigating today’s challenges.

Brooke Mohr, even before joining the Select Board, spent years preparing by attending meetings and serving on town committees. As a board member, she’s thoughtful, informed, and open to evolving her views through discussion and new information. She began as a housing advocate and now brings a broad, balanced perspective to town governance.

In addition to their qualifications, both candidates are committed to fostering community engagement and transparency in local government, ensuring that every voice is heard and valued in the decision-making process.

Both Matt and Brooke make decisions based on what’s best for the community as a whole and are not beholden to special interests. They are experienced, steady hands during a time of complexity and change — exactly what Nantucket needs. We are lucky to have them and can’t afford to lose them.

Please vote to stay the course on May 20th by keeping Matt Fee and Brooke Mohr on the Select Board. And above all, please VOTE.

Sincerely,
